Who Loves Playing Fast Paced Competitive 3v3 Hockey Tournaments?

These events are definitely an awesome platform to develop skill and flex your competitive spirit as a hockey player! As awesome as 3v3 tourneys can be there are two major challenges that we have seen over the last few years:

Blowouts: Blowouts are due to poorly matched teams playing at the wrong level. No one wants to be on either side of a blowout. These types of games are a waste of time for everyone involved.

Unqualified Refs: Oftentimes refs simply lose control of the game or even worse, call every piece of competitive contact. In order to keep players safe as well as make sure players / coaches / fans get the best experience possible well qualified refs are 100% necessary!

Our Solution: 3v3 All Stars

  • What?   2 Unique Fast Paced All Star 3v3 Hockey Tournaments
    • The Fall 3v3 Challenge: OCT 17-20
    • The Holiday 3v3 Challenge: Dates TBD in late December
  • Who? 
    • By Invitation Only...All players register as Individual
    • 3 Divisions of Play
      • NHL: PeeWees and Exceptional Squirts
      • College: Elite Squirts and Advanced Squirts
      • Junior: Elite and Advanced Mites
    • Levels listed above are general reference. 
    • Players will be placed into each division by our staff
  • When?
    • Fall 3v3 All Stars: MEA Break in Minnesota
      • Thursday Oct 17 1200-900 pm
      • Friday Oct 18 900 am - 700 pm 
      • Saturday Oct 19 800 am - 600 pm 
      • Sunday Oct 20: 800 am - 1200 pm
    • Holiday 3v3 All Stars: Holiday Break Dates TBD
  • Where? The Cottage Grove South Ice Arena

The Format

  • 3 Divisions with 5 Teams per Division
  • Up to 45 players will be placed in each Division's Pool
  • 5 Competitive Teams will be drafted from each divisions' pool of players. 
  • Teams will have 7-9 skaters plus a goalie. 
  • 4 games guaranteed with top 2 teams getting a 5th game
  • Games will run a quick 2 minute warmup plus 46 minutes of run time hockey. 
  • The Schedule and Rules will be posted on this page as we get closer to the event. 

What Does Each Player Get and How Much Does It Cost?

  • All Players Receive:
    • 4 games guaranteed...top 2 teams of each age level will get a 5th game. 
    • Champions of each division will receive an exclusive Snipers Edge All Star Champs Hat
    • Wear your own socks...team jerseys will be provided for the event.
    • Cost: $135 per player / goalie
