What is the Premier League?
The Premier League is designed for top squirt and peewee hockey players to compete with and against each other in order to prepare for the upcoming winter association season. We combine dedicated coaches, experienced referees and passionate young hockey players to create an awesome fall hockey experience!

What Does My Player Get?
- PW Division
- 8-9 total games
- 7 regular season games
- 1-2 playoff games
- SQ Division
- 7 total games
- 5 regular season games
- 2 bracketed playoff games.
- Elite Coaches from around the state that represent a variety of Youth Hockey Associations & AAA Programs
- New for 2026 NIV Custom Premier League Hoodie
- NIV Custom jerseys with last names, choice of number plus socks
- Games will consist of three 16 minute stop time periods.
- 2 quality experienced refs per game. Tony Lancette is the director of refs for The Snipers Edge Premier League.
- The 2026 Season will run over the course of three weekends. Sept 4-6, Sept 11-13 and Sept 18-20.
- Full stats, rosters and standings will be tracked using Live Scoring via GameSheets on the Snipers Edge Tournament Series website.
- Cost will be communicated with invited players.
Phase #1: Prospects Pool Application
All players that are interested in joining The Premier League must apply. The Application is open SEPT 30, 2025. There is no cost to filling out the application. Applying does not guarantee a spot in the league.
Eligibility is based on 2026-2027 Winter Association Level. Exceptional Mite Eligible Players may be considered for the Squirt Premier League.
Phase #2: Official Premier League Invite & Registration
The second phase is the Official Premier League Invite & Registration. Players 90 skaters and 12 goalies will be invited from the Prospects Application Pool from each level (SQ and PW) to join the Premier League for the 2026 season. Selected Prospects will receive their SQ Premier League Invites starting NOV 3, 2025. PW Premier League Invites will begin to go our on NOV 14, 2025. Each player will have a specific window of time to accept / decline the invite. Players that accept their invites and register will be placed in the Premier League Draft
Phase #3: Premier League Draft
The third phase and final phase is the Premier League Draft. All registered players will be drafted by the coaches to their respective teams. Draft for the 2026 Premier League will take place in mid January of 2026.
2026 Premier League Rosters will be announced during the spring of 2026.
